• Good Morning All,

    Hope everyone is well.

I am looking for help on two matters, apologies for my ignorance but I am only just starting out on the WordPress/website adventure.

    SEO Framework Plugin

Below please see the following screenshot.

I was wondering whether anyone can give me some advice in how to make all the boxes green? I am a little bit concerned for the red ones in the middle.

    Google Console query

      Please see the below screenshot.

I was wondering whether the 11 excluded by ‘noindex’ tag’s is an issue? And, do you know how to resolve them?

Thank you for taking your time to look at this query and I look forward to your replies.

      Kindest Regards,

      Mark

    Hi Mark!

Those warnings are there when the WordPress installation blocks indexing.

If you go to /wp-admin/options-reading.php, you should see a checkbox at the bottom. Uncheck “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”, and save the settings.

The SEO Framework should ping Google on this change via the sitemap. However, it can take a week for that to clear up on their side.

To speed that up, enter any public URL in the top-bar of Search Console, hit “enter/return”, and you should see a button called “Request Indexing”. Follow the steps provided on that page, and the page should be up within a day. Then, it’s a matter of time (and effort) before the site starts ranking; good luck!
