• While this may be beyond technical support, I am looking for some advice. We have a site built on Themco Pro-X/Cornerstone. The site currently uses the SEO Framework and extension plugin. We wish to rebuild the site using the ELEMENTOR page builder and the Phlox Pro theme as there is no means to migrate from the Cornerstone/ProX Page Builder, nor is there a safe way we know of to have two builders running on one site. The new site will have the SEO Framework and extension and we hope to build as much of the links as true to the old site. So the question is there an easy way to migrate the Framework SEO settings from the old site to the new site, including all existing redirects?

    Hi there!

Whether you’d want to carry over the information one-to-one or not depends on whether the new site will hold the same structure as the old one.

    Create new structore
If you want to create a new structure, then I don’t recommend carrying over the metadata and start anew. Then, you can monitor 404-hits via Google’s Search Console’s link explorer and real user data via Google Analytics. Proactively fix those issues with new redirects, and everything should be fine.

    Hold old structure
However, if you want to carry over your current structure, then I recommend moving over the site as a whole; which includes the settings, the posts, and their metadata. Thereafter, you can reconstruct the pages with Elementor.

The reason this works is because TSF only uses the default WordPress database tables and API-endpoints to store its information; so, everything will be carried over easily. Now, there are plugins out there that can help you with this; but, I recommend talking to your hosting provider before engaging.

Also here, you’d want to inspect Google’s information via their web applications.

    I hope this helps!
