• Hi guys!

I would seriously appreciate if someone can point out what’s going with the SEO Title for my Home page!

I’ve tried all suggested settings but none been able to display my SEO Title in Google. It’s always the default WP Site Title that is displayed!

All the other pages seems ok with their SEO Titles.

I’ve tried the Force Rewrite Titles = NO Success

I’ve tried by replacing the header.php
    <title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php wp_title(); ?></title>
    for
    <title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title>
    NO Success

Kind of a serious issue for my visibility!

    Some help will be appreciated!

    Thanks guys!

  • Did you find the solution?

    I didn’t found yet a solution!

My title issue is really under Google! When I access my page, the title is ok!

But Google search result keep showing my Site name and not the SEO Title from Yoast.

So I compared with another website I manage that is ok with the custom title.

So to make some test, I change my site title to the Custom Title I want!
Kind of stupid thing but can’t find another way to make Google read the title I want.

The fact that now the Title is quite long, I don’t want it to appear on my other pages! So I’m forcing a rewrite title for each page by adding a custom title to each.

The second thing I did, under Social/Facebook, I temporary deactivated the OpenGraph option!

With this option OFF, no trace of my site name at all in the source code!

So I’m waiting Google to crawl my site with these new settings!
