    Hi,

    Great plugin but I have a question. Does hiding a Post from the front page (and RSS) have an impact on the search engine ranking? I am going to be using this plugin to create a category that is going to have its own page and posts different from the front page. It will be linked from front page (you can see it already it is called Snippet Blog).

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    The plugin doesn’t hide the hidden pages and posts from the crawlers. They will still be able to see the post / page and index unless you hide it using some SEO Plugin.

    Thank you Martin – so the SEO ranking of the page is not impacted. I am using the plugin to switch off certain posts from RSS to Email on Mailchimp.

    Yes, the SEO ranking won’t be affected.

    Best,

    Hello @martin7ba, thanks for this awesome plugin.

    But in one of your responses 4 months ago in @colourstone question, you said you have not tested this plugin against google search crawling and indexing, as to whether the post hiding plugin prevents Google from finding and indexing the hidden post.

    So, from your response here now which is just 2 months ago now, please let me ask now;

    Have you tested the plugin against google search indexing for the hidden post? Will Google be able to find and index the post hidden with this plugin? Please let me know.

    Thanks and looking forward!
