SEO Local extension –> Google Maps/My Business?

    Searched a bit and did not find an answer: does the header info the Local SEO extension adds to a site get picked up and used by Google my Business and Google Maps, or does one still need to set up a Profile there and enter stuff like opening times manually?

    Hi @philbee,

    I can’t discuss premium extensions in these forums.

    But, the gist is that with (any form of) Local SEO, it can be leading if Google My Business isn’t set up; otherwise, it’s complementary and supplements authority, validity, and extra information. If set up, both systems need to be maintained simultaneously.

    The extension will continue to evolve, but the first (and most important) steps have already been made.
