Yoast SEO on my WordPress site is showing a blank content box. I cannot add meta descriptions, word/phrases, keywords, etc. SEO score and readability score are all missing. Yoast was working a couple days ago and now I have a blank content box.

When I log in and go to “Add New” post, I create the new post and scroll down to the Yoast SEO content box. The box is blank. Yoast SEO is missing for all my posts, not just new ones. The original scores for already published posts are available under “All Posts”, where I can see the previous SEO score and readability scores.

    I am using Chrome browser.

I am using Free version of Yoast SEO.

    Theme is Magplus by Themebubble.

    Wordpress is version 5.1

    Yoast plugin is version 9.7

Javascript is enabled in my browser.

All plugins and WordPress themes are up-to-date.

Google Developer Console shows 1 error:
admin.min.js?ver=3.5.0:1 Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function
    at i (admin.min.js?ver=3.5.0:1)
    at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (admin.min.js?ver=3.5.0:1)

    i @ jquery.js:2
    fireWith @ jquery.js:2
    ready @ jquery.js:2
    K @ jquery.js:2

How can I fix this and get my SEO scores back? Thanks in advance for your help!

I just did one more “inspect element” to see if I got all the bugs, and these just popped up:

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins except Yoast SEO, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable plugins one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
