    Hi,

I installed Yoast SEO. I registered my web site in the Google Search Console. The sitemap was generated as well. Now if I google study mandarin, I checked all the 13 google result pages, there is no my web site. But if I google studymandarin as one word, Goodle returns my web site. Why this happens? How to solve the issue? Thanks.

    Best regards,

    Peter

  • If you think your site is not indexed you can try searching for your site using the site command

    For example site:https://www.queenofheartscasino.com

If you see your website on the results, then your site is indexed.

If you can’t see your website on the keyword “study mandarin” on the first pages its more likely because Google believes other sites offer more relevant information on this keyword.

Post quality content, do your SEO and with some patience you’ll get up there!

Thank you, fraoula, for your help.

    I tried site: https://www.studymandarin.com.au
Google doesn’t show my website on the results. I tried “studymandarin” today, it doesn’t show my website either (It was showed days ago).

I have same ad in gumtree (a sub site of ebay) and a facebook business site, Will these cause the problem?

You searched for site: https://www.studymandarin.com.au which means Google scans the index for that exact phrase because there is a space between site: and your domain.

    site:studymandarin.com.au

Your site is indexed but appears to be pretty new. It takes time for Google to figure out where your site fits into search results.

    Closed. No further questions.
