When I google my website “urion” and see the results, the text on the description for the homepage is currently just being populated with the text on the live page. The text I’ve inputted as metadata is not being shown on the google results.

This is the result when i go on google: https://img.onl/PKWZuE
Vs the fields I have inputted on wordpress: https://img.onl/LiSOjF

I see that the result on google is just for “urion.ca” while the one on wordpress is for “urion.ca/home”.
I do not see just the page “urion.ca” under “pages” in my wordpress dashboard. Am I missing something?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

We understand your concern regarding the breadcrumb outputted on the search results vs the one outputted on the Yoast preview, so let’s get to the bottom of what’s going on here!

As per the given screenshot, we checked the breadcrumb schema data outputted on the homepage https://urion.ca by our Yoast SEO plugin and confirmed there’s no issue or error on implementation. Yoast plugin automatically adds all the necessary breadcrumb schema data needed for Google to understand the page.

The links that appear below the search results are automatically generated by Google based on your site structure. Unfortunately, It’s not based on any Yoast SEO settings, so you can’t select how the links appear. You can learn more about it here — https://yoast.com/breadcrumbs-seo/

Just as another little try, although it’s not ideal, I would suggest running that relevant URL via URL Inspection tool which would ping Google to recrawl and reindex the post info on Google search results.
