After we updated Yoast it suggested to optmize the SEO data and we proceeded.
But the optimization bar stopped around 15% and after that we can’t access the Admin backened panel.

I had to turn off the Yoast plugin using WordPress.com plugin panel. But when I try to turn on the Yoast plugin it frozes the Admin panel again.

    How to fix please?

    Please help

    Hi @marciotky that’s very unfortunate!

    Could you please:

    1. install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
    3. Hit the “Reset indexables & migrations” button
    4. See if that fixes it?

Woot! It worked. Thank you! All came back to normal.

Do you recommend to try again to click on “Click here to speed up your site now” and try again? Our website has a big archive btw.

    Thank you Joost

@marciotky yeah you can try again, if that doesn’t work again, you can follow the same steps. Also, if the site is very big, you could use the WP CLI command if you know how to do that.
