SEO – Permalinks

I really should know this, I’ve been with wordpress since 2008 (dot.org since 2011), I’ve noticed on Permalinks settings I’ve had Permalink structure on Month and Name, people have been telling should be Post name, If I change will that seriously affect SEO? I’ve reverted to using Yoast again past few weeks, since 2024 using the same SEO every post I averaged 1000-2000 visits a day now I’m struggling to get 200 people. I dont know if the permalink not on post name, or seo plugin is helping
