• I just updated to the latest version of the plugin as advised by wordpress. The upgrade went ok and I thought nothing of it. After logging out, I had to log in again not long after. On visiting the login page, the boxes for username and password were not there!

I went into the site via ftp and deleted the wordpress seo folder from plugins. On refreshing the screen my login boxes are back. I have repeated the whole process three times to make sure I am not mistaken but it has the same effect each time I install and activate the plugin. I am using latest wordpress. I have also now lost all the seo work I had done with the plugin previously. I did download the whole folder before deleting so hopefully there will be a way to restore it.

Does any one know if it is possible to restore my seo changes into an earlier version please?

Sounds like the update went sore, I’d remove the plugin entirely and reinstall the latest version.

Hi Joost, I tried that 3 times and the result is always the same. It was working fine before the update. Can I download the previous version? I also have the plugin folder backed up. Is my previous data contained in one particular file that I could restore?

    Thanks
