• Hi Group

I have a website with the following plugins for SEO:
    google analytics
    google site kit
    All in one Seo pack

I believe that it is not good to have multiple SEO plugins, so i am trying to sort it out.. can I ask:

    • I was under the impression that Google Analytics and Google Site Kit were two different plug-ins doing different things, but I now think they might be clashing.
do they work together or should I only use one of them and if so which one should I use / which one is best?
    • is the “All in one Seo pack” a bad thing to run as well as the google ones?
    • I assume one of the Google plugins would be best, as they will work with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is this correct?
If not which is the best SEO plug-in to use?
    • I believe my Google ones were linked with special codes provided by Google to work with the analytics and the search console is that correct?
if so and I deleted the plugin is that a bad thing and would i need to re-connect the plugin chosen with Google again?

I hope somone can shed some light on this in laymans terms so i can sort out my websites.

    Regards G

  • Firstly: there is no “best” plugin for a specific purpose. You always have to decide on a project-specific basis which plugin is best for the application.
However, you list 3 plugins on the subject of SEO, only one of which is really an SEO plugin.

Google Analytics – only integrates the Google Analytics access counter. This allows you to analyse the traffic to your website, which has nothing to do with SEO per se.

Google SiteKit – is a collection of functions for analysing the findability of the website from Google for WordPress, including some SEO aspects and also Analytics.

All in one SEO – is a typical SEO plugin that allows you to control your website in this regard.

You can probably tell: with SiteKit and Analytics, you are using two overlapping plugins. You can do without Google Analytics if you store the configurations for it in SiteKit. If you have any questions about this, please contact the SiteKit support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/google-site-kit/

With All in One SEO, you can now control the visibility of your website in search engines. If you have any questions, please contact their support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack/
