I built a WP site for a self-employed recruiter. When the client posts new jobs, it creates a temporary page that goes away when the job is filled. Google Search Console keeps seeing these pages and trying to index them. I now see 44 URLs in GSC labeled “Not found (404)”. I can process Removal for each one, but is there a way to prevent this from happening in the first place?
For example, is there a way to auto-insert a META “noindex” tag on certain types of pages?
