Are you using any SEO related plugin?
After putting the code in function.php file, you see a permalink under each popupup when you open any popup in editmode OR create a new one. You can use this permalink for sitemap.

yes! i see that and i have a SEO plugin. it puts it in the sitemap, but then you get a 404 not found error – it seems the popup page does not exist?

Hello,

Just go to permalink setting of your theme and select default radio button and save.
Now again select the old setting and save again. It will fix your issue.

hi, you you mean the defalt WP settings fpr permalinks? i can switch to “plain” there only which put’s a post number. i switched back to “post name” and 404 is gone but pages are empty and just white?
