Does page parent-child affect SEO?

hello

i have a question regarding the page parent->child structure in wordpress.

Lets say i have a page called products : example.com/products/
and a page called product nr 1.

If i select products as my “parent” page the url slug will be :
example.com/products/product-nr-1/

But, i would like to use the url without the parent page in it, for different reasons.

so my question is . Is there a benefit in seo strictly regarding the site structure? ( page parent -child ) ?
Or will i get the same result just using them as unrelated pages ? Is the page parent-child structore only for internal “benefits” or does it affect SEO ?

PS:
– i know there are plugins that can remove the parent from the slug. But, they seem to conflict with one or more of my other plugins and i prefer not to use them
– also , i noticed that questions like these are usually answered with ” you should write unique content, that is important for seo”
Yes, i know that unique content is the most important part. That is not what i am asking. I just want to know the answer to this particular queston not seo in general.
