    Hi,
    I would like to make a static website with your plugin. However, I have some basic questions:

    If I create and manage the dynamic WP site on a subdomain, how can I make sure the subdomain won’t get indexed by search engines whereas the main domain with the static site does? If I set my settings to noindex, nofollow in WP backend settings, will this apply to the static site as well? And what about using Rank Math or another SEO plugin?

    @reverrainz sorry, but this doesn’t really answer all my questions. And I cannot use Cloudflare.

    Hey @fellter2,

    good question!

    I wouldn’t go with the noindex/nofollow settings in WP in that case, as this would also affect your static website.

    I generally recommend BASIC AUTH for the WP site, which blocks everyone (including bots) that doesn’t provide the credentials to unlock it.

    Then you add those credentials in Simply Static -> Settings -> Advanced to allow Simply Static access to the page.
