• Hi experts!

i have a doubt for you: How does one manage the SEO and positioning for a multisite network? Let me explain myself better:

I’m building a site that offers a service for every city of my country (italy). Since i wanted the site to be independent for every city, i created a multisite network, every site being an independent city where i offer my services (I know it might be a little weird to hear but that’s not for questioning here).

let’s say my site is mysite.it and the independent sites of the networks are:
    mysite.it/site1 and mysite.it/site2

How does google work this? my guess is that being all under the same domain name, google treats them as one site only thus giving it one ranking to the whole network.

I know google ranks PAGES, not SITES, but if i don’t mistakenly recall, google knows if it’s one single site and that has an influence on the pages ranking, am i wrong?

I want to start improving my SEO and ranking but first i need to Know how to behave and i don’t since i haven’t ever worked with a multisite network under the same domain.

Could you guys give me a hand, please?
