SEO/Readability analysis annoying

We understand that sometimes it’s tempting to attempt to get all green lights on the SEO and readability analysis. However, these are general guidelines, not strict rules that will hurt your ranking. If you feel your page is properly written and formatted and has a good user experience, then these warnings can be safely ignored and you should not sacrifice user experience to get the green bullet.

thanks for the feedback, I get your point. It’s not about the need to have all green. The thing is when looking for a content which might deserve some improvement, it just make sense to filter it by the bullet colors and start with the red/orange ones. So it gets annoying when after analyzing couple of articles I find out that the problems are as mentioned, no external link or sth. Which makes a very useful tool sometimes somehow annoying. So then what is the point in having green and orange when sometimes orange is good enough and green might be too much ??

We generally recommend trying to get a green bullet for the overall readability and SEO scores (see screenshot). Having one or two red or orange bullets is perfectly fine. Outbound links are important for SEO, as you can read in this article, however, it’s not always possible/easy to add outbound links to your pages. So, when checking the analysis results provided by our plugin, please use your own common sense to decide whether the suggestions will actually improve your text and SEO.
