Sure.
So for a reference, let’s assume I recently happened to visit some Pizza Restaurant named “L’Amourita Pizza” and now I want to review / rate experience I had with them on my blog.
# Restaurant – L’Amourita Pizza
# My review – Delicious, tasty pizza on Eastlake! L’Amourita serves up traditional wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza, brought to your table promptly and without fuss. An ideal neighborhood pizza joint.
# My Rating: 4 / 5
So, here is the review post on my blog I just wrote for purpose of your review.
And in a similar way, bloggers do reviews of many things such as movies, electronic gadgets, games, etc.
Now – please check Google’s Usage guidelines here – where I would recommend you watch the video and read the explanation further where they have detailed the properties.
So – this is what our plugin helps webmasters do conveniently without having them to write code for the markup data. And screenshot of WordPress Editor looks something like this.

Further, just to help you understand how much do we care about following Google guidelines –
Example 1:
The most frequently requested feature request by our users is whether they can hide the markup data. This request has been requested at least by 50 people through emails and on support forum like this / this
However as you see, we have always encouraged our users not to hide the content at all through our replies and FAQs of plugin.
Example 2:
For Markup types such as Recipe where website collects “votes” from their users about how much do they like the post (in simpler terms – the feedback on quality of the post by webmaster) the plugin provides this facility as well. However to avoid abuse of this feature by unethical users of the plugin, we have restricted only one rating per IP.
Example 3:
Many of our users have validated the Markup code by Google’s manual review team and on one occasion – a user pointed a minor issue or confusion. On the instance, we updated the plugin quickly to be in compliance of Google guidelines. Here is the link of support thread for your perusal.

There are many instances such as above three, where we had to limit our users or update the plugin, though they would have liked us more for NOT doing so. However we do care about keeping things ethical and web clean, probably as much as Google and people like you do – and have always encouraged our users doing so.
Hope this would give you some confidence in us as authors of this plugin. Please let me know if you still find something as inappropriate in this plugin and I would be glad to take a look.
Looking forward,
Sujay
