SEO Slugs doesn’t work with XMLRPC?

I’m using Live Writer for content authoring and have SEO Slugs installed and activated. It seems however, that SEO Slugs doesn’t work with posts sent using the WordPress XML RPC.
Have anyone experienced something similar?
It would be great to be able to use Live Writer for content authoring and yet to benefit of the SEO Slugs plugin.
