SEO Smart Links – Open In New Window Broken?

Has anyone else noticed that the “Open In New Window” option in SEO Smart Links appears to be broken? When I check the box, save settings and click on a link in a post it comes up in the same window. Just wondering if this is happening for anyone else and if there is a fix. I like using this plugin for affiliate marketing so I would prefer that the user get a new window or tab when clicking on a link so my blog will still be visible.
