Even after removing the standard tags in the Yoast settings, every time I create a new page or post, the 4 blue buttons still show in the SEO title box. I have to delete them every time.
Once they have been deleted in the Yoast settings, shouldn’t tha box be empty in a new post or page?

    Hello @catfishtpa

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I assume you are referring to the default snippet variables added to the SEO title field. Can you let me know where you deleted them? Is it in a particular post?

I look forward to your response.

I deleted the variable from the Yoast / Settings, see here: https://onlinelotto365.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_page_settings#/post-type/pages, same in the settings for pages.
But whenever I create a new post or page, the variables are still there.

I understand you deleted the snippet variables for the SEO title field in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Content Types > Pages. If you don’t fill anything in but leave it blank, it won’t work. So, if you don’t want to use the defaults, you have to fill something in.
