    Hello Dear Supporter
i have read the pinned topic before i create this forum, i didn’t find my answer

here’s the Question for me :
when i make some changes about the seo title and meta description AND then save my changes, i don’t see it in google result!

a few days ago i changed “seo title” and “meta description” of my pages, and today when i searched them i see no changes!

How is it working? Does it take much longer to apply?

thank you so much in advance

@hamrah5 Can you please provide us with an example URL of one of the pages so that we can review the source code to see whether the title/meta description are being output as expected?

In order for changes to pages and new information to show up in Google, this first requires that Googlebot re-crawls the page in question. On average, Google will automatically re-crawl a site every 48-72 hours, but this can vary depending on other factors. However, if you have your site setup in Google Search Console you can force Google to re-crawl a page by using the URL Inspection Tool feature. You can use this tool to request indexing of the page to try to force Google’s index to update by doing the following:

Login to Google Search Console at https://search.google.com/search-console and choose your website from the ‘Site Property’ menu.
Type or paste the complete URL of the article in the top entry bar.
Expand the ‘Coverage’ section to view the ‘Last crawl’ date.
If the page has changed since the ‘Last crawl’ date, click ‘ Test Live URL’.
If the test returns any errors, please make any necessary changes so the URL is available to Google before proceeding.
      Click ‘Request Indexing’.

We also we have a guide on using the URL Inspection Tool feature here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/fetch-as-googlebot/ and you can also read more about it in Google’s documentation here:

    Dear @devnihil i’m really grateful…
you explained everything with detail & patient…
i really really appreciate your time and kindness!

yes Sure, here’s are the URL examples :
    https://ha5.ir/contact-us/
    https://ha5.ir/articles/
    https://ha5.ir/online-store/
    https://ha5.ir/register/

for the second link i request index, as you taught me, but for the rest i did nothing so that you can check

Honestly, i’m worried about something : i can’t always check the google result for my pages, and a few days ago a friend told me about (https://ha5.ir/register/) in search result and it wonder me!

i want to know that is there something wrong with my website or anything, because for some pages it’s much more than 72 hours of changing and google didn’t index them correctly, just the way i set it in YOAST SEO.

thank you so much in advance, specially for giving my answer in a few hours…

    Hello,

We checked on this particular URL https://ha5.ir/register/ and it indeed showed up in the search results. However, the last cached date was June 19, 2020, and the title and meta description was different in the search results as to how you’ve defined it with the Yoast SEO plugin. It’s totally possible that Google is showing the cached results and hasn’t recrawled this page. We mentioned that on average it might take 48-72 hours, but of course, this would really depend on your website and a whole lot of other factors.

You can learn more about it here — https://yoast.com/help/google-shows-different-titles-for-my-site/
