SEO Ultimate possibly hacked?

Giving the devs a heads up – your plugin is possibly compromised.
On every WP website I have SEO Ultimate installed I get link injections and a sitemap.xml file added to the home directory.
The links usually take the form “mywebsite.com/something-something.pdf” but on a couple of websites the links are external.
All links are hidden via “<div>” with relative top position of “-3xxx”.On websites where I have deactivated or uninstalled SEO Ultimate, then reinstall WP, this never happens again. If I just clean up the sitemap.xml and reinstall WP (without disabling SEO), the links come back.
I urge everyone using SEO Ultimate to run an outbound link checker and look for suspicious outbound links ending in .pdf then we’d know for sure something’s wrong with the plugin.
