    Thanks.
The Premium version is SEO friendly.
It redirects the Joomla Urls to the WordPress ones.

    Hi Kerfred!

Got a followup question to this (have purchased the premium version).

I currently have a site https://www.xyz.com (joomla 1.5) and we are working on the new site temp.xyz.com (WordPress)

Im about to start migrating (did a small test and all seems great).

    1) When the data is migrated from https://www.xyz.com TO temp.xyz.com
    2) we will do a small cleanup on temp. (remove some old data etc)
    3) and then rename https://www.xyz.com to static.xyz.com and promote temp.xyz.com to https://www.xyz.com

Now the question: will the premieum version handle those SEO redirects properly? So all google links existing to https://www.xyz.com will be routed to the migrated posts on the newly promoted https://www.xyz.com

    Have a good one!

You are doing the right way.
And yes, all the articles with the old Joomla URLs will be redirected (301 redirect) to the new WordPress URLs. So the SEO is preserved.
You can test it before moving your WordPress site to www by going to https://temp.xyz.com/old_joomla_url. It will redirect to temp.xyz.com/new_wordpress_url.
