Separate Author / Avatar?

  • I’ve followed instructions to include the author avatar that are provided here: https://displayposts.com/2019/05/31/display-author-avatar/.

    It works well, but I want it to appear before everything else (I am just doing a text list view, no images except the avatars). When I moved $author in the list of output elements, it moved both the authors name and the avatar, with the avatar still appearing after the author’s name.

    How would I go about separating the avatar from the author’s name so that I can move them independently of one another in the output ordering?
