I’m using WPEverest’s User Registration Plug-in. I’d like to separate the “Required Data” from the “Optional Data”. All I am requiring to register is User_Name, Nickname, Password and e-mail address. I thought it might be nice for people to post a short bio, their website, etc. When I set up the form I include a comment on the Registration Page that only certain data is required. However, there’s no way to separate the required data from the optional data. It’s all one form.
I tried to create a second form, named “Optional” but it forces me to include the original e-mail and password. That’s counter-productive. I tried using a Text Box to separate the two sections, but the text box is looking for input from the viewer. That’s not what I need.

Comment: I saw another post with a question about customizing the Profile Page. I agree with the poster on that. But I also think the Registration Process should be more customizable. This seems rigid, forced. Think about it, WPEverest.

Anyway, does anyone have an idea about how to separate the “required” from the “optional” data? The little asterisk is nice, but I want a “physical” separation. Is that possible?

    Hi
I put a text area between the two sections and entered a message about the optional text in the description. Since the description is below the data entry it has the appearance of a heading for the data entry fields below it.
The data entry area of the text box is a bit odd. If anyone knows a better way to do this, please advise.

    Hi @uisdean

    Thanks for writing in,

A better way to separate your form’s fields in to use Section Title which you will get in Advance Fields add-ons. For more details, please contact us at https://wpeverest.com/contact/

    Thanks!
