    Hi,

I would like to separate galleries on my home page. I have 6 widgets. When I started setting up the galleries, after adding image links to the first widget, everything worked perfectly. But once I added new image links (not the same ones) to the next widget, also the first widget’s images appear in the gallery. How to separate those? I want each widget to have its own image gallery.

I provided the URL to my site. You can see in the “Services” section 6 horizontal windows. 1st and the 3rd one have image links in there. And you’ll see how the images are the same. The 1st should have only building photos and the 3rd one only kitchen photos.

I can’t figure it out. Are you able to point me in the right direction?

PS. Is there still no swipe support for the lightbox on mobile devices?

    Cheers,
    Kristina

Hi, when using native WordPress widgets, you can use SLB’s “Group widget items separately” option to automatically create separate lightbox slideshows for the links in each widget.

SLB can also automatically group native WordPress galleries into separate lightbox slideshows by enabling SLB’s “Group gallery items separately” option.

If you are not using native widgets or galleries, you can group links into lightbox slideshows using the [slb_group] shortcode. See SLB’s shortcode documentation for more details.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

I have widgets that came with the theme, so I assume they are not native (because “grouping gallery items separately” didn’t help).

So I tried the [slb_group] shortcode. Unfortunately, it does not work. Before I had a gallery opening with the feature image first and then other images in the list following + all the other widget’s photos appearing in one gallery (which wasn’t what I wanted). But now after I added the shortcode, only the feature image opens. And since there are other widgets as well, then the gallery shows all the featured images together. So basically it just removes all the photos in the link lists and shows featured images (which means it still groups all the separate galleries together).

Is there something I′m doing wrong?

I added the shortcode opening before the links list and the closing tag after the links list inside the div.

Hi, as per the [slb_group] documentation (link in my previous reply), all of the links you want in the same group should be in a single [slb_group] shortcode block (opening/closing tag).

It sounds like you only put the the links list in a group of their own, which is why they were separated from the featured image link. The featured image link should be in the same [slb_group] block as its respective links list to be part of the same group.

If you are still experiencing an issue, please provide an updated link once SLB is active and the changes have been made, and I would be glad to take another look.

    Thanks.
