• Hello — I have a podcast going and I’m using WP to manage the site. I am trying to figure out a way to have separate feeds for the mp3 version and the ogg version of the podcast. Here’s the setup:

I create an entry in which I put the show notes etc. for each episode. In this entry, I link to my mp3 file on libsyn and the feeds picks this up and puts the correct enclosures etc. If I were to also add an ogg link, that would be fine, but the problem is for people who use scripts etc. to download the files they would download both the mp3 and the ogg. I want to create a separate feed for just the ogg. But here’s the catch: I need the entry to also be in the ogg feed.

In other words, if one looked at the mp3 xml they would get the entry text plus the mp3 file and if one looked at the ogg xml they would get the entry text plus the ogg file.

I could create two categories, one called mp3 and one called ogg, and post each episode’s entry in both categories, thus separating the feeds, but how do I have the mp3 file & tags only show up in the mp3 category feed and the ogg file & tags only show up in the ogg category feed? I could post each entry twice with the same text but different file links, but that’s a PITA. Any suggestions? Thank you!
