    I have posts with multiple galleries on them. Each gallery is supposed to show only the images from that gallery in Lightbox. That used to work fine, but since I’ve upgraded NextGen from 1.9.3 to 2.0.40 this behavior has changed: all galleries are stringed together in Lightbox, so when you come to the last image of the gallery and you click on next, the first image of the next gallery is shown. This is not the behavior I want. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?

    I have found more people with the same issue, none have found a solution.

    It may have to do with the built-in Lightbox plugin. I found someone with a similar problem with a different Lightbox plugin (not using NextGen) here and solved it by adding an ID to the gallery. However, NextGen/Lightbox already does this and it is not working…

    Are the new owners of NextGen supporting their plugin? Some help would be greatly appreciated!

    @boris – Does this occur with all Lightbox effects? From checking my own site, that same behavior isn’t occurring for me.

    Would you mind, confirming for us that error persists after:
    – disable all browser extensions/plugins/or add-ons
    – Temporarily switching to WordPress default theme > clear browser cache & reload your site
    – Deactivate all plugins (including NextGEN Gallery) > clear browser cache > re-activate NextGEN Gallery only & reload your site

    Do any of those action steps help? I know this can be a big inconvenience, this does help tell us if there is a plugin/theme conflict. Or a browser related issue.

    The point is that this behaviour is exactly what I’m looking for, and I’m unable to obtain it. If someone find the solution for that, I would be really pleased to know…

    @boris – This appears to be more a “Lightbox” issues as that is how this library works. It reads all of the images on the page (from the DOM object) you are viewing and puts them into Lightbox display.

    All of the Lightbox Effects that are currently offered with NextGEN Gallery are “standard” libraries we have incorporated into the plugin. The other Lightbox Effects options should only include the images from the specific gallery you access the lightbox from.

    @itinerrances – If you are not using the “Lightbox” Lightbox Effect and seeing all images on your site inside the Lightbox Effect you are using then please start your own topic and specify which Lightbox Effect you are using.

    Thanks!

    @photocrati,
    you are right. I’m using a separate Lightbox plugin for a slider at the bottom of the page. The combination of two Lightbox plugins seems to be the cause of the problem. Still, the problem didn’t exist with the old NextGen version. I’ve resolved the issue by disabling the separate Lightbox plugin.

    @boris – I’m glad you found a work-around, did you also try under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … no lightbox, and then reactivate the Lightbox plugin you found the conflict with?

    Thanks for the follow-up response, too.
