    Hi,

I’d like to have one page that uses the Combo search and a different page using the Multisearch (searching different fields). Is this possible?

The combo search is to search for a specific name (using text field with autocomplete) and the multi search page is acting as a filter to generate a list of results that match specified criteria.

    Cheers,
    Emily

If you’re comfortable with php code, you can use a custom template to achieve this. If you look at the template the Combo Multisearch uses (it’s in the plugin in the templates folder) you will see that the two search widgets are separate code in the template. You need to set up two custom templates: one for each kind of search you want to use.

Thanks for that. It’s been about 10 years but it’ll give it a crack!

It should be evident in the template how to do it, but you can get back here with specific questions of you need.
