    Hey guys!

I have a News-section on my website and Google requires a separate Sitemap for all news-articles if you apply for Google News.

Now if I’d use “posts” then it probably would be somehow possible through the categories. But I (and many others) use “pages” for everything.

I was wondering if The SEO Framework could implement some solution for this (either paid or free) ?

I think a checkbox eg. “Is this a news article?” which puts the page into a separate sitemap would do the job well.

What do you think of that?

    Thanks!

    Hi Daniel,

We have extensions that bring more business-focused solutions. The one you’re looking for is Articles, which generates the Google News sitemap containing all posts you’ve annotated with “NewsArticle” Schema.org markup.

If you have questions about the extensions or billing, I must ask you to forward those to us outside of these forums since we’re not allowed to discuss commercial products here.

    Cheers ??
