• Is it possible for users to register for a sub-site of a network or is everyone automatically dumped into the main network list?

Could a network sub-site have it’s own separate list of users? It seems not since in the db I’m only seeing 1 table for users.

Is there anyway to allow a user to register for just one sub-site, on that sub-site, in a network?

Everyone’s in the main network list, but everyone is ALSO on a per site list.

When users register it is for the whole network, but they have no access to each site until they’re added per site.

Can I move a user’s registration details between sites?

I have a user registered on Site 1, but I need be able to set them as the author for a post on Site 2.

I can’t add them again to site 2 as their email is alread registered on site 1, of course.

How can I accomplish this without un-registereing then re-registering them on the different sites. Is there no facility for just adding existing users to existing sites within a WPMU environment?

zactoff – Of course you can.

    Go to domain.com/site2/wp-admin/user-new.php

    Use Add Existing User

    Done.

(BTW, next time make your own topic, this is about a different issue and you’re thread-hijacking)

Thank you (and sorry for the hijacking)
