Separating Name field into first and last

    Hi,

    In your documentation it says I can download CSV reports with two fields for name: first and last but when I do this I have only a name field in the CSV.

    When I go to edit customer profile there is a name field and it contains both first and last name.

    I’m looking to export customers with separate first and last name fields.
    Am I missing something here?

    At this time, no, we do not have a way to separate the names on the customer export, sorry.

    Your post on using Zapier to send automated follow-up emails to EDD customers was well timed ??

    I’ve been digging into this and for anyone who’s interested it’s possible using Zapier to split the name field and send this to MailChimp. This is possible with Zapier’s recently released Formatter app.

    This post walks you through how to set it up and if you just want to use first name to personalise your email marketing campaigns then it should do the trick in most cases.
