Seperating Radio Buttons On Two Lines

To separate Radio Buttons on two lines I round this as a solution….

display:block;
}

BUT where do you add it to stylesheet to fix the problem for both checkboxes and radio buttons???

I went into into my appearance – editor – stylesheet and add it BUT nothing??

Could someone give a better idea where to add to make it work??
