    Downloaded sequel template for twenty fourteen, but can not find any front page that looks like the page advertised. Where do we find this part of the template? Thanks.

    The look of the screenshot/demo site is achieved by a combination of options that can be enabled via the theme customizer.

    The demo site has the featured content enable and set to fade slider. The home grid posts is also enabled plus social menu in the sidebar.

    If there’s any specific option you need advice on please let me know.

    Thanks for a reply. Here is what I want to do:
    1. Have a full screen image as the first thing to open when the site is accessed. What size should this be?
    2. Have the six smaller grid boxes to appear over laying this image (sample shows three). I want these boxes link to 5 existing pages plus one showing latest blog post – each with an identifying image (what size should these be? How do I make this happen?

    OR
    A header with slider format showing several images
    with grid boxes below that.

    I have tried going off a static page to set up the grid. The blog post titles show up only and so large they look bad. I asked for 4 and got all of my posts.
