Thanks for getting back in touch and sharing the information.

We were unable to replicate the problem when we tested the scenario with the most recent version of our plugin. Can you please confirm that you are experiencing the issue of sequential order numbers being skipped every time an order is placed?

It would be helpful if you could share a screen recording of the order placement process and a screenshot of the WooCommerce order listing page via this link so that we can investigate the issue.

Tomas, are you using Checkout Blocks? Very likely it’s DRAFT Orders which are causing the gaps…

Hm, yes looks like that? It’s a pretty new store/install and I haven’t touched much. On the Checkout page it says that PayPal Gateway By Payment Plugins doesn’t support this block? It works though (but displays in English rather than the site language as set in settings).

Currently, our plugin does not exclude sequential order numbering for checkout-draft orders that are generated through checkout blocks. This may result in gaps in the sequential order series if draft orders are placed but not confirmed within 24 hours. Could you please confirm if this is the issue you are facing on your site? We have added draft order compatibility to our development backlog and will introduce it in future plugin updates. Thanks for understanding.

It’s using blocks yes, as that is the standard. I don’t know how to confirm there has been draft orders?

You can easily identify draft orders by checking the WooCommerce order listing page. Please refer to the attached screenshot for more information

I think you can disable the creation of draft orders by leaving the field to Hold stock blank

I’ve seen a few draft orders, yes (not many orders in this store). Changed the hold stock setting now, thank you.

I tried it and it doesn’t work it seems, Woo blocks create draft orders automatically regardless… It’s a shame, I wished @webtoffeesupport could adjust the plugin so it ignores draft orders…
