Serendipity Import

  • Hi WP cracks!

    I’ve tried to import all posts from my actual Serendipity blog to my new WordPress blog. Uff!

    Because there is no specific import routine for Serendipity I’ve used the general import-rss.php. But …

    • It results in a character mix – especially with German characters like ?¤, ?? and ??; even though I’ve paid attention to the character code settings
    • Hyperlinks, image tags etc. are displayed in the new (WP) blog as normal text, are not interpreted as code

    Somebody here who has an idea? Made experience with importing Serendipity? Or even better: has a plugin or a piece of code to do this in no time?
