    In WooCommerce I want to generate a custom serial number based on purchasers first name, last name, email address + a code based on which product ordered. Doing the math is no problem. I want to use the result as the serial number

    The current features do not offer this by default but you can achieve this. You have to create a serial number and assign it with an order after an order is placed. If you need more information, feel free to ask.

    So it cannot become part of the completed order email that is sent to the customer?

    I do math based on first name, last name and email

    I use length of each string and sum of ascii values of each string and do a calculation.

    I want to use that as a serial number.

    No, it will not be a part of the completed order email.

    You can customize the core file of the plugin to achieve your goal. Be aware that, our future releases will override your customization.
