• I have added 2 Series, but when I go to Settings->Feed Details, according to the help pages there is supposed to be a default and then a link for each series at the top.

    There is the default but nothing else there. At this point, we cannot start a series as we can’t edit the details of it.

    Have worked out that if I manually enter the URL’s it works but I cant save, any changes made saves to the default feed.

    But the code for the links to each Series Feed Settings looks like this:

    <ul id="feed-series-list" class="subsubsub series-open">
    <li><a href="/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=podcast&page=podcast_settings&tab=feed-details&feed-series=default" class="">Default feed</a></li><li>
     | <a href="/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=podcast&page=podcast_settings&tab=feed-details" class=""></a>
    </li>
    <li>
     | <a href="/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=podcast&page=podcast_settings&tab=feed-details" class=""></a>
    </li>
    </ul>

    Hi @eangulus,

    What version of SSP and WordPress are you running?

    Thread Starter Shaun Williams

    (@eangulus)

    Latest versions. Always kept up to date.

    Wordpress 5.9 (thought I noticed the issue before I updated)
    SSP 2.10.0

    Also not too sure how long the problem has been there, we were only running a single series of podcasts, and now we are needing to create a new series, so now I have noticed the issue while trying to set it up.

    Still having the issue.

    Sorry to say, but we cannot wait any longer to get this sorted out.

    We have a new podcast series to set up and currently, this plugin is broken in that regard.

    Time to find a replacement plugin.

    Unfortunately this is not an issue that I can recreate. Does updating to Version 2.11 help?

    You may be experiencing a plugin conflict with regards to the series taxonomy/functionality.

    Deactivating all WordPress plugins except SSP can help us determine if the issue is caused from a plugin interfering or there is and issue with your website hosting.

    WARNING: We strongly recommend running these tests on a staging, local,
    or development version of your website. We are not responsible for problems
    that may arise from running theme and conflict tests in a live environment.
    To get started, first make a backup copy of your site and if you are able, move the site into a staging or local development environment. Then walk through these steps:

      Turn on a default WordPress.
      Visit the plugins page and select all the available plugins except SSP, then select ‘Deactivate’ from the ‘Bulk Actions’ drop down menu.
      Click on the ‘Apply’ button to deactivate all selected plugins.
      When everything is off visit the area of your site where you are experiencing the issue with SSP and verify if the issue is resolved.
      Reactivate each plugin one by one until you are able to identify the plugin that is causing the issue.
