Series Not Showing Up

Depending on your browser setup sometimes you may have to refresh the Series page to show a Series you just added. Could you give that a try and let us know how it goes for you?

Sorry, I guess I should have been more clear. The series show up on the Series page, but on the Add New Podcast screen, they don’t show up. The dropdown is empty.

When adding a new podcast you will see all of the podcast meta fields created for the Podcast custom post type under the text editor. Series is a check box that appears in the Inspector Controls on the right in the Document section. Take a look at our documentation here https://support.castos.com/article/23-publishing-your-first-episode and let me know if you are not seeing the Series to the right of the editor window.

It is not showing like that.

the series to the right of the editor window shows a down arrow, but my Series are not listed there.

Do you have any suggestions? I have 2 Series created under the Series page. since I can’t upload a screenshot, the series feed urls are:

Hi there. Just to confirm the issue you’re saying that you’ve created the two Series from the left menu area, but when you’re creating an episode the option to select those Series is not in the right pane of the post editor?

Can you verify that the Series show up in the Podcast -> Settings -> Feed Details area? There should be the Default Feed and each of the two Series feeds. If you haven’t already please complete the details of the feeds for each of your Series (i.e. the Title of the Podcast, description, cover image, etc.). Then let’s recheck the post editor to see if things show up there.
