How do I remove or drastically reduce the huge image that appears on my individual sermon’s page?
I’ve read various comments and articles about inserting code in the view folder or adding some PHP code somewhere, but I have no idea how to do this or where this stuff is located.

The pastor wants the thumbnail images, but not the oversized image that is actually the blown-out thumbnail.

Any help would be definitely appreciated since this project has been dumped into my lap and I know nothing about working on the backend of WordPress.

    Here is a sample page:

    Hey @clearlysee,

I see you are using Divi, which is why this is happening. Divi doesn’t really know what to do with the sermons pages, so it outputs them like a blog by default.

You can try ticking the option in the backend to enable plugin template views, however that may create another issue of everything showing full width.

Either way custom work will be needed to get this looking right.

We are making some changes to how Sermon Manager outputs its own views to make this easier for Churches with themes like Divi. But this is still a few weeks off.

If you don’t have anyone who might be able to customize this for you, we do offer custom services where we can do this for you. If you are interested feel free to email us at [email protected]
