Hi, I am getting a score of “F” ON GT Metrics for these resource duplications. I have the same Url for these 20+ minified resources. It seems the duplicates are the same folders but suffixed with “?x33147”. Can you advise if this is normal behaviour for W3TC?
If not, are they being duplicated through some other process? Server or Plugins? I do have AMP for WP with the minification option turned on.
I also have Updraft (which probably has a copy of these files saved) and also Wordfence (which should not affect this) and All in One SEO (which again should not affect this.

I have been into the File Manager in CPanel and deleted all contents of the cached minify files so as to allow W3TC to build fresh Cache, but saw none with the above mentioned suffix ?x33147.

In fact I can’t locate any files with that reference anywhere. I am not on CDN or any external file serving so this has got me stumped.

I currently seem to be making 20 duplicate requests for unnecessary files.
Hope you can point me in the right direction to resolve this.
    Best regards

    Hello,

x33147 is a URL postfix added by Browser’s cache “Prevent from caching” option. That value is updated to make the URL unique and pass through potential caching on the browser.
Can you please disable that setting and see if the issue persists?

Thank you Marko for your prompt reply.
Yes that fixed it in one fell swoop. Right on the money. I am getting a clean bill of health (A 100) on Speed Tests now for “Serve resources from a consistent URL”.
My page was running at 92 requests, changing this setting plus some other optimization dropped me back to 58. I believe 21 of those requests were the duplicated minified files in my original post above. Thanks again. Great support.
