Server 500 Errors when uploading Photos HELP

  • About 10% of my users get a server 500 error when they upload photos. The photos in question are small at 72dpi and if I get them to email me the exact photo, I can upload it OK. If it was just one or two with the problem I would ignore it, but with so many I really need to sort it out, can anyone help? Thanks.
