• Hello,

I have an install of WordPress. Originally, the install was on Flywheel, it’s since been transferred to Godaddy. For some reason I am unable to install any plugin and continually get errors throughout but my main problem is the plugins. Right now I am able to see all installed plugins, but am unable to look at or manually install plugins on the following screen. I have checked for updates,a nd all existing plugins are up to date as well as the wordpress core. Below are the errors I have received:

Warning: include_once(/home/ghhbqss9rwjh/public_html//.fw-config.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in?/home/ghhbqss9rwjh/public_html/wp-settings.php?on line?445

Warning: include_once(): Failed opening ‘/home/ghhbqss9rwjh/public_html//.fw-config.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php82/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php82/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’) in /home/ghhbqss9rwjh/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 445

Warning: plugins_api(): An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the?support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in?/home/ghhbqss9rwjh/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php?on line?6085

My guess is that it has something to do with the way that Flywheel installs WordPress, as it’s a custom install, but I didn’t think there would be these kind of issues with the install.

Update: It’s also messing with my Chron Events too, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since you’re hosting with GoDaddy, I recommend you contact their support about this.

They control the server end of things.

I think your assumption is correct. At least one WordPress core file seems to have been customized. How did you move the project? Normally I would only take wp-content + database with me, you seem to have copied the whole core files over. In this case, I would recommend a manual reinstallation of these: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/updating-wordpress/#manual-update

You may then have to look at the wp-config.php again with regard to the configurations there.
