Server Configuration Error while Updating Plugins

  • It says this when I go to the update page:

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home2/rwsault/public_html/speedycardonation.com/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 83

    And it says this when I try to update a plugin:

    An error occurred while updating Contact Form 7: Download failed. Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

    I’ve already contacted the themes support and they said they were unable to help as this was a WordPress issue. However, this is only happening with this website and theme combo. All my other sites are fine.
