Server did not respond with OK: 503

Has anyone ever encountered this exact message in their WordPress admin? It’s at the top of every page. Google returns nothing! Site is functioning fine.

  • Where is it exactly at the top of the page? For example on the Posts page in admin, is it the first thing under the word Posts?

It’s on all pages like this: https://i.imgur.com/JsfWbhm.png

That’s the are plugins often use to display, messages, updates or promo banners. If it was me I would try disabling pluginins one by one. If it is a plugin, then you can investigate further.

I am seeing the same and have isolated the problem to the WPBakery Page Builder plugin. Disable that, and the error disappears.

I expect this to be a temporary server issue on their side, so it will probably go away again.

Thank you @pokersut, I confirm it has gone away now.

I too encountered this problem recently (Just now infact). I just wanted to confirm that it is indeed the wordpress bakery plugin. Their servers are probably down or something. Thanks for pointing this out. Hope
