    Hi topperweb,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

Can you tell me what error you see? Is it a 500 error on your server?

    Are you on shared hosting?

What version of WP are you using?

Is this an upgrade OR a new install?

    Please let me know.

Thanks for reply. Site is working fine with latest WP Version 4.5.3 and BD 3.7.5 and hosted on 1and1 shared wp hosting.

When update latest BD, file is not accessable and giving this message.

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hmmm. Sounds like you should do a conflict test now. Since you’re on shared hosting, it’s possible that’s the root cause (and here’s an article on why that is: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/what-kind-of-hosting-should-i-use-for-wordpress-and-why-is-shared-hosting-a-problem/ )

But try the conflict test to verify, particularly if you don’t have many listings. (But if you have LOTS, then this is a data issue on the queries with shared hosting)

Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

Try that and report back on what you find.

    Hi Rick,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

This forum thread is nearly 8 months old so your issue is probably a different one.

In the future, please open a new forum thread when you need help. You can link to one if you think it’s related, though. That’s always helpful.

Sounds like you might have some kind of conflict on your hands.

Have you tried a conflict test yet? Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

    Please let me know.

    Hi @rickdurfee,

For an issue like that, you might contact your web host and ask them to help get back into your site. They should be able to assist with that.

Once you’re back in, please try the conflict test and report back.
