Server Error message

  • I keep getting this error when I try and upload photos to my gallerie
    Server error. Upload directory isn’t writable
    How can I fix this? All my uploads fail

    change permission folder to 755 or 777 on wp-content via ssh or ftp

    Sorry, I don’t know alot about this program, where is the permission folder and whats ssh and ftp. I found a permissions folder through lunarpages, my host, is this where you are talking about or is there another one within wordpress?

    Just checked under lunarpages and the permissions set under wp-content are already set to 755
