Server load after 2.0.9
-
I have a couple issues since upgrading to 2.0.x. The first was, a couple weeks ago, we updated to 2.0.something and it caused the site to slow down tremendously and eventually crash. IS tells me “What it does is just make the server load several (as in dozens) of httpd Apache processes – like we are getting our own personal DoS attack – and it just consumes the CPUs.” – So we rolled it back. Then this morning I updated to 2.0.9 because it said security fix and again, the site started slowing down. A good 7-10 seconds for a page load. As soon as I rolled it back, the speed went back to normal. Any ideas?
Second, we use this in conjunction with a plugin called “Post tags and Categories for Pages” to give those same categories to pages and then control which users can access which pages. This no longer works. Even rolling the plugin back, now every user can see and edit every page. Is this something you support?
